USB Video Capture Device
ROLAND UVC-01 is a USB video capture device that gives you the ability to add high-quality livestreaming functionality to Roland V-series video switchers or to a camera or camcorder equipped with HDMI.
Thanks to its plug-&-play design, simply connect the ROLAND UVC-01 via HDMI, connect it to a USB 3.0 port on your computer, and start streaming on Facebook Live, YouTube and other popular platforms.
ROLAND UVC-01 is capable of handling livestreams with uncompressed HD 1080p image quality at 60 FPS for smooth movement, and low-latency encoding. And thanks to its design, it always works when you need it: efficiently, consistently, and reliably.
Once connected, ROLAND UVC-01 automatically appears as a source in your streaming software, without the need for drivers or complex configurations. Like a dedicated webcam, it encodes from HDMI to USB video class and USB audio class formats, allowing you to instantly stream at the high speed of USB 3.0 with any service, platform, or application that accepts a webcam as an A/V source.
With ROLAND UVC-01, stereo audio is embedded in the HDMI feed along with video. And thanks to the dedicated audio input, you can also feed a secondary audio source. For example, you can play short music clips from a smartphone, or use Roland GO-MIXER Pro to combine a microphone and instruments for impactful musical performances.
With ROLAND UVC-01 you can transmit your video signal to both a live audience and online, simply connect it to the switcher's second output and simultaneously broadcast live on your chosen streaming platform.
With the free Roland Video Recorder application, you can also record high-quality video and audio through ROLAND UVC-01 in real time, ready for upload to video sharing sites.
