Packed with pro features to tackle any modern production, ROLAND V-160HD sets a new standard for switching in hybrid events. Connect with your live audience in Full HD thanks to comprehensive SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, and simultaneously stream to any web platform via USB-C. You can also create video effects on eight layers, and you have access to a 40-channel digital audio mixer and integrated PTZ camera control, along with next-generation cue management and live show automation features that make even the most complex productions simple. All packaged in a portable design, with a broadcast-style interface, easily managed by a single operator.
ROLAND V-160HD combines the robust hardware needed to tackle live productions effortlessly with the livestreaming capabilities found in computer-based systems. While software workflows are perfect for exclusively online events, ROLAND V-160HD provides the features needed for both in-person and streaming components of a hybrid live event, with the ability to adapt content for each audience.
On-demand signal processing means you never have to worry about issues like computer CPU overload, latency, and delays on dedicated audience displays.
Standard integrated connectivity with SDI, HDMI, XLR, and USB-C eliminates the need for costly infrastructure and conversion processes.
The extended and comprehensive interface offers direct controls that can be quickly learned by a single operator.
Presets, macros, and advanced sequence creation features allow you to configure and automate complex switching operations with a simple touch.
The 30 preset memories and powerful effects processor work together to deliver linear scene changes, including synchronization of the transition of all layers of the program output composition.
The 100 macros go even further, allowing you to configure and execute complex action lists that include switching, DSK on/off, audio mixing adjustments, PTZ camera movements, and much more.
The free remote control software for macOS, Windows, and iPad further enhances this workflow, offering a simple graphical interface for configuring and previewing actions before live execution. The newly developed ROLAND V-160HD sequencer makes presets and macros even more powerful, allowing a single operator to easily execute perfectly timed cues. Up to 1,000 steps can be recorded in the sequencer, and each step can include both presets and macros. Simply configure cues in advance in the sequence list and activate them in order using the Next button on the panel.
The ROLAND V-160HD effects processor offers compositions on eight layers that can be assigned to Program and Sub-Program outputs, to engage your audience with compelling content. With a maximum of four picture-in-picture windows, downstream key layers, 16 memories for still images with PNG image transparency support, and much more, you can manage any client's creative needs.
ROLAND V-160HD uses the same connection technology as webcams, enabling event streaming at 30/60 FPS in Full HD. Simply connect the USB-C output to a computer and start streaming with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, Facebook Live, or any platform that uses a webcam as a source. Everything is plug & play, with no need to install any drivers.
Offering studio-quality sound, the ROLAND V-160HD's 40-channel digital audio mixer allows you to combine signals from all 16 video inputs, USB-C, microphones, and line-level devices connected to the two balanced XLR combo inputs and stereo RCA. And with the convenience of built-in Bluetooth, you can wirelessly stream music and other audio sources from a phone or tablet. You also have access to a vast library of effects to refine your sound and quickly resolve common issues such as audio synchronization and background noise removal.
