FEATURES
EVA‑EXT3100 is the zone expansion unit for the EVA‑3000 series, designed to increase the number of speaker lines and interfaces available within an EN 54‑16 certified voice evacuation and public address system.
The device provides 16 speaker/loudspeaker lines corresponding to 8 zones, 8 monitored contact inputs, and 8 contact outputs, in addition to a line input for local audio sources.
The EVA‑EXT3100 integrates advanced automatic diagnostic functions, supervising power supplies, CPUs, amplifiers, speaker lines, contacts, and the network. In the event of a controller CPU failure, the unit can still distribute audio from the line input to all local zones, ensuring operational continuity during emergencies.
It also features audio outputs for the two channels (CH1 and CH2) for connection to external amplifiers, support for 3-wire and 4-wire volume controls, and a 24 VDC output to power auxiliary devices. Each zone supports up to 500 W of load, making the expander suitable for large-scale systems.
