MX-404 è un preamplificatore a matrice a 4 canali (4 ingressi e 4 uscite) progettato per gestire fino a quattro zone audio in modo indipendente.
Dispone di quattro ingressi instradabili verso quattro uscite, ciascuna con controllo individuale del volume e indicatore di livello. Gli ingressi includono due Combo XLR / jack da 6,35 mm configurabili come microfono o linea con alimentazione Phantom, un ingresso microfonico XLR (Input1), un ingresso linea RCA stereo / Euroblock e un ingresso AUX frontale con connettore mini-jack da 3,5 mm. Le 4 uscite di linea sono su connettore Euroblock.
È dotato di un lettore multimediale integrato con radio FM / DAB, porta USB e connettività Bluetooth. Presente anche un connettore RJ45 per il collegamento a una Call Station e un contatto allarme a 24 V.
L’alimentazione è flessibile, supportando sia corrente alternata a 115 - 230 VAC sia corrente continua a 24 VDC. Le sue dimensioni compatte (1U rack) e il peso contenuto lo rendono pratico da installare. La qualità audio è garantita da una distorsione armonica totale inferiore allo 0,03% e da un rapporto S/N superiore a 75 dB per i microfoni e 85 dB per linea e AUX.
