Rupert Neve Designs Portico II Master Buss Processor Black
Estimated delivery in Italy between 24 and 28 July
Following numerous requests, the Master Buss Processor is now available in a new black finish to celebrate Rupert Neve Designs' 15th anniversary.
The Master Buss Processor is a creative tool that redefines the boundaries of traditional compression and limiting, based on the discrete, Class A, high-voltage signal path that made the 5088 Mixer famous. Although originally designed for mastering, the MBP quickly became a favorite processor for mixing, recording, and even FOH engineers. Whether it's mixing an aggressive, bass-heavy EDM track or fine-tuning a chamber music master, the MBP always has something to offer, regardless of the genre.
Features
- Stereo Compressor/Limiter
- Full compression section for both channels, with attack, release, ratio, and threshold controls
- Side-chain input with high-pass filter for both channels
- Feedback/feed-forward controls for modern or vintage style compression
- Texture control with two Silk modes to add the classic Rupert Neve sound
- The Blend control allows mixing the clean signal with the compressed signal, to preserve transients while adding punch
- Simple and highly musical 1-knob limiter with Adaptive Release technology, allowing for brickwall limiting that doesn't distort or affect levels below the threshold
- The Stereo Field Editor section contains independent controls for width and depth as well as their own equalization control, allowing you to work on the perfect stereo field.
