The MiniCMIT shotgun microphone offers the characteristics of the CMIT 5 in a more compact format. The MiniCMIT, the CMIT 5, and the SuperCMIT (channel 2) feature identical frequency response curves. Furthermore, the MiniCMIT and the CMIT 5 use circuitry with similar characteristics, allowing one microphone to be swapped for the other without altering the sound.
