sE 4100 LDC Cardioid
The younger sibling of the renowned sE4400. Classic sound meets modern craftsmanship in its simplest form; the sE4100 is a true-condenser cardioid microphone with large diaphragm. Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, widely used in live and studio applications, the sE4100 offers essential features without quality compromises and showcases the warm sonic character of classic condenser microphones. Equipped with the same handcrafted 1" brass capsule as the sE4400 model, the sE4100 microphone delivers exceptional performance across a vast range of sources. From vocals to grand pianos, from acoustic or wind instruments to electric guitar cabinets and drum overheads, the sE4100 excels in live environments, used in pairs for drum overheads or as single miking for instruments. Built with meticulous attention to detail, the sE4100 features a dent-proof die-cast metal housing, metal switches, a robust metal mesh grille and premium finish. Designed to withstand the daily life of touring professionals and years of studio use. Thanks to integrated attenuation pads and low-cut filters, the sE4100 effectively handles noisy sources, reducing excessive low-frequency rumble or proximity effect. It provides the extended dynamic range and roll-offs needed to shape the sound directly from the source.
