sE Electronics DM3 an extremely innovative DI Box
DM3 is an inline active DI with an Ultra-HiZ input and a compact design, built to stay by your side and always get the best out of your instruments. Based on the established DYNAMITE technology used in DM1 and DM2 models, DM3 reinvents the active DI with a new standard of quietness. Its Ultra-HiZ input and dedicated Class A output buffer amplifier preserve the unique sonic character of your instrument with impeccable detail. Ideal for sources ranging from vintage electric guitar and bass pickups to acoustic instruments with piezo transducers and high-output sources like keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, and laptops, to name a few. Thanks to ample headroom and a switchable attenuation pad, the DM3 can handle the output of a 10,000-watt solid-state power amplifier. The three-position ground lift switch features a unique "ON+" setting that effectively reduces not only hum but also unwanted radio interference noise. With a lockable 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) input jack, the DM3 ensures a secure connection in demanding and fast-paced recording or live environments where mishaps can occur. Rugged, all-metal, and with an "inline" space-saving form factor, the DM3 is more of an "all-rounder" than just a DI Box. It's definitely the key to great sound!
