MATCHED PAIR OF SMALL-DIAPHRAGM CONDENSER MICROPHONES
The sE8 is a high-quality condenser microphone designed for a wide range of studio and live applications. Thanks to its custom-made, hand-assembled 0.5” (small-diaphragm) capsule and transformerless output, the sE8 delivers crystal-clear sound quality and a smooth, well-balanced frequency response, making this transducer perfect for many applications, from acoustic guitar to piano and drums. The carefully selected electronics with ultra-low noise components, together with the attenuation pad, allow the microphone to withstand even high sound pressure levels (SPL) for a truly high dynamic range. The two-position low-cut filter helps eliminate unwanted noise like footfalls and can also compensate for an excess of low frequencies caused by the proximity effect. This makes the sE8 excellent for close-miking acoustic instruments and other sources such as electric guitar cabinets, brass instruments, and drums. The robust metal casing and high manufacturing standards make it reliable even "on the road", on stages, and in all usage conditions.
