Showtec Assistant CRMX è uno strumento multifunzionale per controllare i segnali W-DMX, CRMX, DMX, RDM e Art-Net. Permette di ricevere e trasmettere segnali (W-)DMX, il che lo rende ideale per testare le reti DMX e Art-Net, mentre il ricetrasmettitore LumenRadio integrato consente di controllare la rete Wireless DMX; il tutto con un unico dispositivo robusto. Permette anche di registrare e riprodurre i segnali DMX utilizzando una scheda SD rimovibile. Inoltre, Showtec Assistant CRMX permette di controllare i parametri RDM degli apparecchi.
La navigazione nel menu e nei parametri è facile grazie al touch screen capacitivo. In alternativa, è possibile utilizzare il fader e i pulsanti per il controllo. La batteria interna agli ioni di litio, quando è completamente carica, dura fino a 16 ore e può essere ricaricata tramite la porta USB-C con un alimentatore da 5 V.
