Two-way DMX Mixing Device
The Showtec DMX Merge allows you to combine two DMX controllers into one DMX line or to use a second desk as a backup. The unit features 4 modes: 1) HTP (Highest Take Precedence) In this case, two similar desks with the same addressing can be used on one line. The DMX channel with the highest value takes precedence. 2) Backup mode. The unit is connected to two DMX desks. Channel A has priority. If channel A does not work properly or does not have any DMX channels, channel B takes over the show. 3) Mixing mode. The two desks can merge into one line. For example, a scene setter and a DMX operator can be used on one line. The Scene Setter device will operate on channels 1-96, and the DMX Operator unit will have channels 97 and above. These positions can be freely addressed by the DIP switches. 4) LTP (Latest Take Precedence) In this case, two similar desks with the same addressing can be used on one line. The DMX input with the latest value change takes precedence.
