The Showtec Shark series offers feature-rich and high-output moving light effects, consisting of different kinds of moving head fixtures. Each fixture is capable of creating stunning optical effects. They have an elegant look and are easy to transport, rig and set up due to their lightweight design, single-clamp mounting and user-friendly LED display with control buttons and remote.Starting at the top of the series, the Shark moving heads – The Meg stand out for their powerful light output and effects, outperforming the rest of the series. But the fixtures in the rest of the series are nothing to sneeze at! Take the Shark Spot fixtures for instance. They cover wider areas with stunning gobo and spot images. The Shark Beam fixtures on the other hand, produce a nice, tight and far-reaching light beam, creating a stunning effect. Finally, the Shark Wash fixtures provide soft-edged, moving light effects, perfect for vivid colour mixing on stage.
Each fixture offers a wide range of controls, functions and effects. Also, dedicated optional flight cases are available for easier and safer transportation.
The Showtec Shark – The Meg – Beam One is a compact but powerful 100-watt LED moving head with a very narrow 1.6-degree beam angle and plenty of stunning effects, including a controllable LED ring effect. It has a colour wheel with 11 colours plus open and a rainbow effect. Two individual adjustable and indexable rotating prisms with 16 and 24 facets can be alternated and the gobo wheel with gobo shake has 14 gobos + open. Motorised focus allows for razor-sharp images (gobos), while the frost filter provides an even spread of the outer beam. The LED ring can be controlled separately and produces selectable graphical patterns in selectable colours. The Shark – The Meg – Beam One can be controlled by DMX and Master/Slave and includes several built-in programs for stand-alone operation.
