Il Typhoon 640 di Showtec è un effetto luminoso unico che utilizza sei LED RGBW circolari da 40 W che puntano verso l’interno in direzione di una mezza sfera a specchio rotante posizionata al centro. I sei LED RGBW possono essere controllati individualmente e la velocità e la direzione della mezza sfera a specchio possono essere controllate per creare disegni unici e colorati. Ognuno dei sei alloggiamenti LED RGBW contiene anche una striscia di effetti LED RGB che può essere controllata individualmente, ma può anche mostrare spettacoli diversi che possono essere selezionati per visualizzare modelli ed effetti divertenti. Raffreddamento a convezione per ridurre il rumore.
Il profilo basso e l’ampio angolo del fascio di Typhoon 640 lo rendono ideale per le stanze con soffitti bassi, ma può anche essere montato in verticale (o in qualsiasi altra angolazione) per ottenere effetti creativi e scintillanti sfere a specchio. Dispone di modalità DMX a 4, 16, 31, 36 e 51 canali, ma può anche funzionare in modalità standalone e con attivazione sonora.
