Shure MVX2U is an extremely compact USB C audio interface that sits between your microphone and your computer. Equipped with an XLR input with 48v phantom power and up to 60dB of preamplification, MVX2U enables the connection of a dynamic or condenser microphone. DSP functions such as equalization, compression and limiter are configurable in the free ShurePlus MOTIV Desktop app available for PC and Mac. A headphone output for monitoring is also present.

Unlike traditional adapters available on the market, Shure MVX2U stands out because it represents a true audio interface for connecting your microphone to your computer, complete with signal processing functions and processors that can be managed, configured and recalled in the app for PC and Mac computers. The USB connection standard is USB 2, the female connector on the product is of the USB C type, as are the male connectors on the 1 meter cable supplied. You can connect the Shure MVX2U to standard USB format ports "A" - the classic rectangular ones, to be clear - as long as they use the USB 2 standard or later: a simple USB C to USB A cable will suffice.

The free app available for computers with Windows and MacOS operating systems (click here to download) unlocks the following functions for any XLR microphone if you use the MVX2U interface. With Mix Monitor you control the mixing between incoming signal and playback signal, for perfect and balanced headphone monitoring based on your needs. Once you select the distance from the microphone (near or far), the Auto Level Mode automatically and in real time adjusts the gain level thanks to the integrated DSP. In "Auto" mode you will also find 3 equalization presets: Dark, Natural or Brilliant. In Manual Mode you have full control of your microphone output as you can configure all DSP functions as you wish: gain, limiter, compressor, EQ and much more. Don't forget the ability to save your preset settings for quick access in the future. Plus, the ShurePlus MOTIV Desktop app keeps the interface firmware up to date, allowing access to future features and optimizations.
