The SOLID STATE LOGIC X-DESK is an 8 dual-input 16-out mixer that brings the quality of SSL analog consoles like the AWS 900+, Duality, and Matrix to home and project studios. The SOLID STATE LOGIC X-DESK packs a 16-channel SSL SuperAnalogue™ summing mixer with a perfect audio hub for studio connectivity needs into a compact, easily transportable mixer.
The SOLID STATE LOGIC X-DESK meets all major audio mixing process requirements with SSL's typical attention to depth and detail: 100mm faders, extensive monitoring options for artists and engineers with Dim and Cut buttons, mono and stereo Aux sends, insert points on both channels and the Master Bus, and precision bar meters. The SOLID STATE LOGOGIC X-DESK can be conveniently integrated into an existing studio as an elegant desktop mixer or mounted in a 19" rack system thanks to its removable rack ears (7 rack units are required).
Like all products in the SSL SuperAnalogue™ series, its metal chassis makes it extremely robust, and it is hand-built in the UK with premium components and controls.
Using D-Sub connectors, it is possible to expand and cascade up to 8 X-Desks or combinations of X-Desk and X-Rack, meaning up to a total of 160 inputs for mixdown.
