The SOLID STATE LOGIC XLOGIC ALPHA VHD PRE is a 4-channel preamplifier, with the ability to configure each input through an impedance adapter. This allows microphones, instruments, and line inputs to be connected to the SOLID STATE LOGIC XLOGIC ALPHA VHD PRE. Based on the VHD circuit of the famous Duality console, the SOLID STATE LOGIC XLOGIC ALPHA VHD PRE adds an additional purely analog professional touch to a digital recording system. By increasing the input gain, the VHD (Variable Harmonic Drive) circuit introduces a second-harmonic distortion to the input signal, achieving a tube-like sound, or by further increasing the gain, a third-harmonic distortion is obtained, resulting in a more powerful sound typical of transistor circuits.
