Soundcraft ha rivolto particolare attenzione sulla qualita' dei componenti per la miglior resa dell'audio e su un approccio estremamente intuitivo all'uso. La tecnologia interna e' di tipo surface mount con componentistica ad elevata precisione, cosi' che le impostazioni di EQ e guadagno possono essere condotte in modo estremamente accurato. I mic preamp GB30 (progettati da Graham Blyth in occasione del 30° anniversario dell'azienda, e gia' implementati nelle console serie LX7II e GB) offrono regolazioni ad alta risoluzione su un range dinamico di 55dB, per un headroom disponibile di ben +22dB. Una caratteristica unica del banco e' il led di PEAK per il monitoraggio del segnale, questo controllo mantiene traccia di eventuali overload misurati su diversi punti della catena di canale, illuminandosi sempre piu' brillantemente quanto piu' il segnale si avvicina al valore di picco. Le uscite monitor e cuffia lavorano in parallelo, permettendo l'ascolto contemporaneo per l'artista, in cuffia, e per il tecnico, attraverso studio monitor.
