Soundcraft introduces the new Ui series of remote-controlled digital mixers, providing the unprecedented ability to mix audio from any Wi-Fi connected device, anywhere. The new Ui12 and Ui16 have an integrated Wi-Fi router controllable from a tablet, PC or smartphone. They feature a platform compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS and Linux devices, and up to 10 control devices can be used simultaneously. In addition, Ui12 and Ui16 feature dbx, Digitech and Lexicon DSP, including dbx AFS2, Digitech Amp Modeling, and more. Both models allow remote control and recall of Gain and Phantom power, 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser and noise gate on all input channels. 31-band graphic EQ, noise gate and compressor on all outputs, as well as a real-time frequency analyzer (RTA) on inputs and outputs. There are also three dedicated Lexicon FX busses for Reverb, Delay and Chorus. In addition, mixer controls include: Sub Groups, Mute Groups and View Groups, among others. Ui series mixers can recall complete Show/Snapshot configurations with channel Recall Safe, while security lock features allow, when necessary, access customization only to specific device functions and mixes. Both mixers have on-board independent network interfaces for simultaneous Wi-Fi and Ethernet control, as well as a robust floor chassis for live applications. The Ui12 model is equipped with four XLR combo Mic/Line inputs, four XLR Mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs and one stereo RCA line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR Aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3 mm jacks, in addition to balanced Master outputs on XLR and 6.3 mm jacks. The two-channel USB port is compatible with MP3, WAV and AIFF audio formats. The Ui16 model boasts eight XLR combo Mic/Line inputs, four XLR Mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs and one stereo RCA line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR Aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3 mm jacks, in addition to balanced Master outputs on XLR and 6.3 mm jacks. The two-channel USB port is compatible with MP3, WAV and AIFF audio formats, and direct two-channel USB recording is also possible. The Ui16 also features a dedicated HDMI output for connecting to an external display.
