Soundcraft presents the new Ui series of remote-controlled digital mixers, providing the unprecedented ability to mix audio from any Wi-Fi connected device, anywhere. The new Ui12 and Ui16 integrate a Wi-Fi router controllable from a Tablet, PC, or Smartphone. They feature a platform compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices, and can use up to 10 control devices simultaneously. Furthermore, the Ui12 and Ui16 feature dbx, Digitech, and Lexicon DSP, including dbx AFS2, Digitech Amp Modeling, and more. From both models, it is possible to remotely control and recall Gain and Phantom power, 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser, and noise gate on all input channels. A 31-band graphic equalizer, noise gate, and compressor are available on all outputs, as well as a real-time frequency analyzer (RTA) on inputs and outputs. There are also three dedicated Lexicon FX Buses for Reverb, Delay, and Chorus. In addition, mixer controls include, among others: Sub Groups, Mute Groups, and View Groups. The Ui series mixers can recall complete Show/Snapshot configurations with Channel Recall Safe, while security lock features allow, when necessary, access customization only to specific functions and mixes of the device. Both mixers feature on-board independent network interfaces for simultaneous Wi-Fi and Ethernet control, as well as a robust floor-standing chassis for live applications. The Ui12 model is equipped with four XLR combo Mic/Line inputs, four XLR Mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs, and one stereo RCA line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR Aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3mm jacks, as well as balanced Master outputs on XLR and 6.3mm jacks. The two-channel USB port is compatible with MP3, WAV, and AIFF audio formats. The Ui16 model boasts eight XLR combo Mic/Line inputs, four XLR Mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs, and one stereo RCA line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR Aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3mm jacks, as well as balanced Master outputs on XLR and 6.3mm jacks. The two-channel USB port is compatible with MP3, WAV, and AIFF audio formats, and direct two-channel USB recording is also possible. The Ui16 also includes a dedicated HDMI output for connecting to an external display.
