The Volume 2 was created as an affordable alternative to the full-featured MTC stereo control room and is dedicated exclusively to level control for stereo applications. Designed with active circuitry to avoid impedance variations and the frequency response linearity degradation typical of passive circuitry.
It is aimed at DAW users: most D/A converters and sound cards lack analog level control, resulting in reduced signal bit rate and loss of audio quality.
