BiG SiX is a studio mixing console that combines the features of legendary large-format SSL consoles with complete USB integration, additional sound processing, and extremely flexible routing to deliver the quality, features, and workflow that audio professionals have come to rely on Solid State Logic for.
Based on Solid State Logic's acclaimed SiX desktop mixer and enhanced by feedback and suggestions from artists, producers, and sound engineers, BiG SiX was designed with the intent of setting a new step forward in SSL's hybrid production philosophy.
BiG SiX’s SuperAnalogue™ design offers the punch, clarity, and ultra-low distortion of the 9000 series consoles, so loved by sound engineers, combined with the flexibility of 16 channels of high-quality AD/DA conversion and a USB interface. Featuring an essential version of the SSL G-Comp Bus Compressor, now with the addition of the renowned "Auto" version, channel processing with a compressor and three-band EQ based on the iconic SSL 4000E, a comprehensive monitoring section, and up to 18 channels of analog summing at mix-down, BiG SiX represents the essential studio according to SSL.
