The STEINBERG UR44 is a USB audio interface designed to fit a wide range of recording and production situations. 4 microphone preamps, 6 inputs, 4 output channels, MIDI I/O ports, integrated DSP power, and full iPad connectivity offer an extraordinarily flexible feature set.
The STEINBERG UR44 is unique due to its combination of input and output capabilities, exceptional component quality, and portability. 4 analog Neutrik combo inputs with peak LEDs and switchable +48 V phantom power provide inputs for anything from an electric guitar to line-level audio equipment to boutique condenser microphones. Switchable Hi-Z support means no additional DI box is needed to connect your electric guitar or bass. The 2 additional line inputs allow for the connection of an additional audio source in combination with four microphone preamps for a total of six input channels.
The STEINBERG UR44 also offers the benefits of latency-free monitoring powered by the dspMixFx application and provides DSP effects, allowing you to record with compression, EQ, reverb, and guitar amp simulation in your headphone mix. And if you're using Cubase, all this functionality is integrated directly into the Cubase mixer and custom Cubase windows. For composers and producers using MIDI equipment such as keyboards or pad controllers, the STEINBERG UR44 provides MIDI I/O ports on the rear panel.
