The STUDIOLOGIC NUMA COMPACT 2X is an 88-key digital piano featuring 3 different sound synthesis systems: a physical modeling organ derived from Numa Organ, the analog synthesis of Sledge, and 1 GB of memory for samples. A new USB port allows for sending and receiving digital audio signals.
The sound generation system incorporates the successful physical model already used in the acclaimed Numa Organ. The user interface is based on traditional 9 programmable sliders, which in this section naturally act as drawbars to control the organ sound, or can be used to send MIDI controls.
It has been optimized to adapt to Numa Compact 2X technology. The same sophisticated sound generator as Sledge allows for generating a wide range of synthesis sounds starting from a comprehensive library of basic waveforms. It is possible to control 9 different synthesis parameters in real-time via the sliders.
Through the USB port, high-quality digital audio signals can be sent and received. This allows, for example, recording the sound of the STUDIOLOGIC NUMA COMPACT 2X to a computer, or using the instrument's internal amplification to amplify digital audio coming from a computer or tablet, in an infinite series of practical combinations.
