Key features of SL88 GT MK2
- TP/400 Wood Graded Hammer Action Keybed with 88 weighted wooden keys and aftertouch
- UX Logic user interface, intuitive, fast, and innovative
- SL Link integration and control of Numa Player
- Implementation of the MIDI 2.0 protocol
- Integrated professional audio interface
- DAW controls on the panel
TP/400 Wood Keybed
SL88 GT MK2 adopts the TP/400 Wood keybed with a refined piano touch, offering an experience similar to that of a real grand piano, accurately reproducing the action of the mechanics and other details such as the difference in hammer mass between the bass and treble zones. It is also possible to appropriately adjust its dynamic response by selecting various response curves, with the possibility of even calibrating it key by key. SL88 GT MK2 is ultimately the ideal partner for the musician who doesn't want to compromise on piano touch live or in the studio.
UX Logic User Interface

SL88 GT MK2 implements the exclusive UX Logic user interface based on the interaction between the physical controls on the panel and the display, where all navigation or editing paths are easily identifiable by a color code that illuminates the controls appropriately during the selection of various operating modes, resulting in logical and immediate, easy-to-learn operation.
Panel Controls
The panel of the SL88 GT MK2 features a careful selection of the number and type of physical controls, aimed primarily at keeping interaction with the instrument as simple and immediate as possible, starting with the 4 rotary encoders that control the respective keyboard zones, alongside which are another 2 programmable A/B encoders, supported by an equal number of buttons that also control DAW transport: Play/Stop/Rec/Cycle. The central part of the keyboard is occupied by the backlit 2.8" color LCD display, visible in all environmental conditions, surrounded by navigation keys—a layout already successfully used by Studiologic. Also available are 2 programmable joysticks for real-time parameter control, and up to 3 pedals can be connected to the rear panel.
This innovative Studiologic protocol allows immediate and total control with the Numa Player, its proprietary virtual instrument, without the need for complex operations. Numa Player is a cross-platform software instrument, designed to offer maximum quality and versatility with a wide selection of high-quality sound libraries downloadable from the Studiologic website and available to all users of the SL series.
MIDI 2.0 Compatibility
SL88 GT MK2 is compatible with the new MIDI 2.0 protocol, the standard that brings a higher level of communication between different musical devices, with many advantages over traditional MIDI, with which it is fully compatible.
