FEATURES

The tarm 3 OUTDOOR is a 3000 mW full colour RGB white light laser with full analog colour modulation and pure diode light source specifically designed for outdoor installations.
Unlike the standard tarm 3, it comes with a waterproof enclosure that not only protects the components inside from water, but also shields them from direct heat exposure to sunlight. A specially designed canopy in front of the output window prevents it from being hit by direct rain. To cope with temperature changes, the tarm 3 OUTDOOR has an active water cooling system, integrated into the housing. An active heating system, on the other hand, helps to keep the laser systems operational even at low temperatures.
Therefore, this unit can be operated at ambient temperatures between -10 °C and +45 °C. A CT scanner upgrade with LAS Turboscan drivers is available for the tarm 3 OUTDOOR for higher quality graphic results.

This laser has an integrated network DAC for Showcontroller and Showeditor, but can also be controlled with any ILDA laser control software such as Pangolin Quickshow, Pangolin Beyond, LSX, Lasergraph DSP, etc. via external ILDA interface (e.g. FB3). It also has a built-in memory with preset patterns, which can be easily activated via DMX and auto mode.

The tarm 3 features an integrated ShowNET network interface and free laser show software (Showeditor). Showcontroller software is also supported and can be purchased additionally. Two different DMX modes are available:

• DJ mode with features most commonly used by beginners. Only a few DMX channels are used for quick and easy access to the most important adjustments directly on the laser system
• Professional mode with all DMX features, especially for users with a DMX console. All adjustments can be activated and allow full control of the professional laser show.

The integrated ShowNET acts as a DAC and enables ILDA streaming. The maximum scanning speed is very high at 45 kpps @ 8° ILDA for graphic projection and allows a maximum scanning angle of 50°; optionally, a CT-6210 scanner with 60 kpps @ 8° ILDA and max. scanning angle of 60° can be chosen. High-precision diode arrays provide excellent beam divergence of less than 0.6 mrad for a small beam diameter.

This laser is capable of delivering beautiful colours with good fading. Its very bright 1000 mW and 637 nm single mode red is impressive. Then we have 900 mW green at 520 nm and 1700 mW blue at 450 nm. The tarm 3's housing is very robust and dust-resistant, so there is no air circulation inside the case, which minimises maintenance. The mounting bracket allows the laser system to be hung and mounted vertically. The tarm 3 OUTDOOR is particularly suitable for outdoor laser applications, for fixed installations, advertising, mapping or any type of graphic projection.
