The Tarm 6 OUTDOOR is a 6000 mW RGB laser with full analogue colour modulation and pure diode light source, specifically designed for outdoor installations.

Unlike the standard tarm 6, it features a waterproof enclosure that not only protects the internal components from water but also shields against direct heat from sun exposure. A specially designed canopy in front of the output window prevents direct rain from hitting it.
To cope with temperature variations, the tarm 6 OUTDOOR is equipped with an active water cooling system, integrated into the housing. An active heating system, on the other hand, helps keep the laser systems operational even at low temperatures. Therefore, this unit can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +45 °C. A CT scanner upgrade with LAS Turboscan drivers is available for the tarm 6 OUTDOOR to achieve higher quality graphic results.

This laser is the perfect all-rounder for professional users and lighting designers. It has an integrated network DAC for Showcontroller and Showeditor, but can also be controlled with any ILDA laser control software such as Pangolin Quickshow, Pangolin Beyond, LSX, Lasergraph DSP, etc. via an external ILDA interface (e.g. FB3). It also has a built-in memory with preset patterns, which can be easily triggered via DMX and auto mode.

The Tarm 6 OUTDOOR comes with an integrated ShowNET network interface and free laser show software (Showeditor). Showcontroller software is also supported and can be purchased additionally. Two different DMX modes are available:

• DJ mode with the most frequently used functions for beginners. Only a few DMX channels are used for quick and easy access to the most important adjustments directly on the laser system.
• Professional mode with all DMX functionalities, especially for users with a DMX console. All adjustments can be activated and allow full control of the professional laser show.

The integrated ShowNET functions as a DAC and enables ILDA streaming. The maximum scan speed is very high, at 45 kpps @ 8° ILDA for graphic projection and allows a maximum scan angle of 50°; optionally, a CT-6210 scanner with 60 kpps @ 8° ILDA and a max. scan angle of 60° is available. High-precision diode arrays provide excellent beam divergence of less than 0.5 mrad for a small beam diameter. This laser can deliver beautiful colours, with good fading. Its very bright 2000 mW, 637 nm single-mode red is impressive. We also have a 2000 mW 520 nm green and a 2500 mW 450 nm blue. The housing of the tarm 6 is built very robustly and is dust-resistant, so there is no air circulation inside the case: this minimises maintenance. The mounting bracket allows the laser system to be hung and mounted vertically.

The Tarm 6 OUTDOOR is particularly suitable for outdoor laser applications, for fixed installations, advertising, mapping, or any type of graphic projection.
