64-TRACK AUDIO RECORDER
The DA-6400 is a universal backup recording system for up to 64 audio tracks, received from a Digital Audio Workstation or a mixing console. It can be used with various interface cards such as MADI, DANTE, DigiLink, AVB, or AES/EBU to integrate seamlessly into any environment. The DA-6400 uses a dedicated real-time operating system and highly reliable SSD drives for storage. A model with redundant power supply is also available (DA-6400DP).

- Support for recording/playback in PCM format for 64 channels at 48 kHz/24-bit or 32 channels at 96 kHz/24-bit
- Recording capability with synchronized backup operations for Pro Tools systems
- Tascam 2.5-inch SSD drives used as recording media with high resistance to environmental vibrations, as well as maintenance-free operation (more information below)
- With BWF support, time information can be stored in files
- With two available slots, audio interface cards (sold separately) can be used for various input and output options
- Support for MADI input/output/thru with the use of an IF-MA64/EX interface card (sold separately)
- Support for MADI input/output with the use of an IF-MA64/BN interface card (sold separately)
- Support for Dante input/output with the use of an IF-DA64 interface card (sold separately)
- Support for AES/EBU input/output with the use of an IF-AE16 interface card (sold separately)
- Support for AVB output planned for the future
- Used as a standalone unit with simple operations for starting, recording, and playback
- Can be used as a timecode synchronization master device
