TASCAM DP-32SD 32-Channel Multitrack Recorder
The DP-32SD is a 32-track solid-state-based home recording Portastudio. The unit features a color LCD and channel strip controls to simplify recording so the user can remain creative. Up to eight tracks can be recorded simultaneously onto a standard SD/SDHC memory card via the XLR and 6.3mm combo jacks. During recording, input processing such as compression and limiting, an internal send effect with reverb, delay and chorus, guitar amp simulation and multi-effects for use with the instrument-level input, and an external effects send are available. For mixing, the DP-32SD offers 20 channel faders and 12 rotary controls for EQ, Pan, and effects including reverb and chorus. During the mastering process, the material can be further optimized with EQ, compression, and normalization. Once finished, the tracks can be transferred to the computer via USB to publish the tracks on the Internet, for example.
