TASCAM US 4x4HR is a 4-channel audio interface equipped with 4 mic/line inputs with guitar input support on IN 1-2 plus 2 headphone outputs that can be used in various music/multimedia production environments such as simultaneous vocal/guitar recordings and multitrack recordings. The unit also features a USB-C port for easy powering via USB bus.
High-resolution playback in the US-HR series has been pursued based on TASCAM's policy of recreating sound as close to the original as possible. Therefore, the internally developed Ultra-HDDA mic preamplifier combined with a newly improved audio circuit offers enhanced audio performance with the most transparent and quiet sound.
Direct monitoring will split the signals before sending them to the computer, resulting in smooth monitoring without any delay during both recording and performance.
US-HR models come bundled with world-renowned software that will enhance the user's production workflow. At the core of music production, Steinberg's Cubase LE/Cubasis LE 3 DAW is included, along with IK Multimedia's Sample Tank SE, which comes free with a huge 30 GB sound library comprising over 2,000 different musical instruments.
US-HR models also include a free 3-month subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, a comprehensive suite of industry-standard pitch correction and vocal effects.
TASCAM US 4x4HR can be used with computers or smartphones to easily create podcasts or live streams. Audio can be switched between stereo/mono and the loopback function allows audio to be returned from the computer to the streaming software for playback during live streams. TASCAM US 4x4HR also supports OBS, which is popular and used worldwide.
MIDI IN/OUT inputs allow you to sync and control other external MIDI devices such as keyboards, drum machines, controllers, etc.
TASCAM US 4x4HR can also be used as an interface for iPad and other iOS devices.
With US 4x4HR, TASCAM has achieved further stability in the native driver. The audio buffer size can be set starting from 4 samples (Windows only) to give the best performance for every different environment and maximize the capacity of the computer in use, creating a low-latency environment.
US-HR models share a solid and practical design intended to withstand long hours of intense use. The robust metal casing not only enhances its durability but, combined with the die-cast aluminum side panels, provides an elegant and attractive design.
