The PD-507T is a CD player that uses the famous TEAC CD transport mechanism. It is designed to provide a clean digital output without a DAC, allowing high-quality CD playback through various audio systems with digital inputs, such as the Reference 500 series USB DAC models. The core CD transport mechanism is the TEAC CD-5020A, which boasts a long history of successful applications in broadcasting. By combining this robust and highly reliable mechanism with a semi-floating mounting structure and a specially designed drive circuit, the PD-507T achieves even higher sound quality. The new PD-507T has a new function that allows you to deactivate unused digital outputs. Separate power supplies have been implemented for each clock and digital output. Furthermore, the electrical circuits and mechanical structure have been optimized to offer an even higher level of sound quality compared to previous models. The PD-507T also offers connectivity with the CG-10M-X master clock generator to improve sound quality with an external 10 MHz clock.
