Walnut Bluetooth Turntable
The TN-400BT-X is an analog turntable that allows users to listen to LP records wirelessly via Bluetooth® headphones and speakers. A die-cast aluminum platter provides accurate rotation speed, while an S-shaped static-balanced aluminum tonearm provides accurate tracking. The built-in Phono EQ amplifier allows the TN-400BT-X to be connected to a conventional Hi-Fi amplifier or micro Hi-Fi system, while a universal headshell allows users to easily change cartridges.
A built-in Bluetooth® transmitter allows users to listen to LP records wirelessly with high-quality audio (thanks to aptX® and AAC codecs).
A high-inertia die-cast aluminum platter is driven by a high-torque DC motor via a durable rubber flat belt, providing immensely stable playback at 33⅓, 45, and 78 RPM speeds.
A precision-machined stainless steel spindle and a durable brass bearing maintain accurate rotation speed, thanks to reduced friction.
The TN-400BT-X has a built-in Phono EQ amplifier that supports MM type cartridges, allowing the player to be connected to conventional amplifiers or micro systems without a dedicated turntable input. The Phono EQ amplifier employs a Hi-Fi quality NJM8080 operational amplifier chip (designed by JRC) which amplifies the small audio signal from the stylus with minimal distortion.
By filtering frequencies below 18 Hz, the TN-400BT-X prevents excessive LF signal levels from being sent to amplifiers, presenting a simpler electrical load to any connected speakers. This filter is particularly effective when playing warped vinyl records that would otherwise induce unwanted woofer movement (the subsonic filter is disabled when Phono EQ is THRU).
The S-shaped, statically balanced aluminum tonearm features a counterweight and anti-skating mechanism that allows for exact balance and tracking pressure adjustment, ensuring accurate tracking during playback. A tonearm lifter is also mounted to gently lower the tonearm onto records.
The headshell is of a universal type so that users can change cartridges with relative ease. In order to reduce signal loss between the tonearm and the headshell, gold-plated contact points are employed to help deliver an uncorrupted audio signal.
The TN-400BT-X's Bluetooth® wireless transmission system supports higher quality aptX® and AAC codecs, as well as the conventional SBC codec. This means that even if users don't have a Hi-Fi system, they can still enjoy high-quality vinyl playback via Bluetooth® enabled headphones or speakers.
Connecting the TN-400BT-X to Bluetooth® headphones or speakers is easily achieved by simply pressing a button. A single function pairing button and an associated LED indicator provide simple and clear confirmation of the connection status.
The TN-400BT-X adds elegance to the process of playing a record. Machined aluminum operation knobs radiate quality while aluminum feet, fixed to the high-density MDF chassis via shock-absorbing rubber, provide high feedback resistance.
The player features an excellent all-purpose MM cartridge, which employs a lightweight aluminum cantilever, helping to deliver an accurate and highly musical standard of playback.
