Turntable with ultra-quiet direct drive DC motor, combining elements from the top-of-the-range TD 124 DD and latest generation technologies;
- Rotation speeds of 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM;
- Ultra-precise 9-inch J-shaped TP 160 tonearm developed by Helmut Thiele, with an effective mass of 18 grams, featuring knife-edge bearings horizontally stabilized by specially calibrated magnets to ensure maximum tracking accuracy;
- Spring-loaded anti-skating with convenient control via a dedicated wheel, tonearm height (VTA) and azimuth adjustment;
- Three-element balanced counterweight with graduated ring and additional weight to expand compatibility with different cartridge models;
- Robust aluminum platter with rubber compound layers, weighing 3.2 kg, with excellent resonance damping properties;
- High-precision rotation speed calibration system (deviations up to +/-6%) and easy to use thanks to the built-in pitch control stroboscope, located in front of the platter, and a dedicated button/potentiometer that allows individual, "on-the-fly" adjustment of the rotation for each available speed (33-1/3 / 45 / 78 RPM);
- Electronic tonearm lift activated by a dedicated button and fully contact-free automatic shut-off function with optical detection of the end of the record, upon reaching which the tonearm is lifted and the platter rotation stops;
- Electronically controlled stabilized DC synchronous motor, the same as fitted on the TD 124 DD, powered by a supplied 24 VDC power supply, with the option to purchase separately the high-performance external TPN 124 linear power supply unit (24 V / 5 V DC), included with the TD 124 DD;
- Special adjustable anti-vibration feet with a three-spring loading system;
- Balanced L/R XLR and unbalanced L/R RCA outputs;
- Removable headshell with SME standard bayonet fitting;
- Removable dust cover included;
