The UNIVERSAL AUDIO UAD-2 QUAD CORE is Universal Audio's second most powerful PCIe processing card, allowing engineers and producers to access the UAD plugin collection on Mac or PC. In developing UAD plugins, Universal Audio's DSP engineers worked with the manufacturers of the original hardware, using their designs, their best units, and their expert ears to create plugin emulations containing all the warmth of classic analog gear.
The UNIVERSAL AUDIO UAD-2 QUAD CORE contains four SHARC processors and installs easily into a desktop computer with PCIe or other compatible expansion chassis (PCIe or Thunderbolt), giving your computer an immediate boost in quality and processing power.
The UNIVERSAL AUDIO UAD-2 QUAD CORE includes the Universal Audio Analog Classic Plus plugin bundle, and provides access to popular plugins from brands such as Ampex, Manley, Lexicon, EMT, Empirical Labs, Neve, Roland, Fairchild, Harrison, Little Labs, Studer, SSL, and others (sold separately)
