The WA-14SP is the stereo set of the WA-14 microphone, which is an authentic reproduction of the rare and unattainable "EB-circuit" style 414 microphone. This microphone is universally recognized as the most faithful studio tool of all time for capturing the naturalness of sound during any performance, with minimal coloration. The WA-14SP offers the same extraordinary sonic performance as the original "EB" that inspired its creation, but does so in a stereo format. Comprising a stereo pair of WA-14 microphones, the WA-14SP features a solid brass CK-12 style capsule, variable pad, and three different polar patterns. A distinctive feature is that, unlike modern reinterpretations, the WA-14SP microphones are transformer-balanced, which provides a deep and authentic analog sound reproduction. With this set, you can record pianos, guitars, overheads, and achieve an authentic stereo image, just like the one obtained with the originals used by artists such as The Police, Common, Freddie Mercury, Billy Corgan, and many others.
