The Warm Audio WA76 Limiting Amplifier is a modern reissue of the 'historic' UREI 1176 Revision D. Every effort has been made to remain faithful to the original, including the use of the Reichenbach Engineering (now CineMag) transformers found in the 1176. The classic UREI 1176 was a technological revolution for limiters of its time and became a benchmark for dynamics processors. The most important sound engineers have always sought the 1176 sound, which has become the most widely used compressor of recent decades.
