Revolutionary 4-way connector system
If you've used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know its flaws: for example, the telescopic drape support coming loose, uneven hanging curtains, or clumsy assembly.
The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these events a thing of the past. This system ensures solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes beyond. Another advantage is that all four connector openings have a universal size of 16 mm. This allows for mounting a camera, speaker, or lamp. By using an adapter, it is also possible to seamlessly connect the 4-way connector to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Further advantages

Our reinforced aluminum telescopic uprights can be mounted up to 6 meters without the need for ladders, and their locking heads ensure an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to withstand extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can withstand a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The Velcro system ensures that the drapes hang evenly and straight.

We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for Pipe and Drape systems. Each type of fabric has its own specifications and applications, which are explained in the overview below.

Medium Gloss Satin.
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Thanks to its lightness, it is easy to handle and more convenient. The drapes have a somewhat glossy appearance. Medium Gloss Satin drapes can be washed and are fire retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Due to the lightweight fabric, it does not block 100% of the light; for this type of application, you can use the Dimout series.

Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage wear and is made from the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy, with a weight of 300 grams/m2. It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Thanks to its higher density, it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout
Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/m2. They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can be used, for example, in front of windows.
Dimout drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

String curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have high transparency and are ideal for illumination to create elegant and striking effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/m². They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout drapes are special for blocking light and can be used, for example, in front of windows. For situations requiring lengths greater than 330 cm, the curtain features a 30 cm hook tape piece sewn in that allows it to overlap another curtain, ensuring there are no gaps in between. The Velcro tape can also be used to wrap the curtain around the upright to conceal it. Compatible with Pipe and Drape systems.
Our Dimout fabrics are permanently flame retardant according to EN 13501-1. They are made of 100% PES FR (Flame Retardant Polyester) and can be washed without altering their flame retardant properties. Use a gentle wash cycle at a maximum of 30 °C and a mild, phosphate-free detergent. Iron at max 110 °C and be careful when ironing with steam.
