Revolutionary 4-way connection system
If you have used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know the flaws: for example, the telescopic drape support coming loose, unevenly hanging drapes or awkward assembly.
The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these occurrences a thing of the past. This system ensures solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes the extra mile. Another advantage is that the four openings of the connectors have a universal size of 16 mm. This gives room for mounting a camera, a speaker or a lamp. Using an adapter, it is also possible to connect the 4-way connector seamlessly to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Additional benefits

Our reinforced aluminum telescopic uprights can be mounted up to 6 meters without needing a ladder and their locking heads ensure an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to endure extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can handle a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The velcro system ensures that drapes hang evenly and straight.

We offer a large variety of different fabrics that can be used for the Pipe and Drape systems. Each type of fabric has its own specifications and applications which are explained in the overview below.

Medium Gloss Satin
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Because of its light weight it is easy to handle and more budget friendly. The drapes have a somewhat shiny look. Medium Gloss Satin drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Because of the lightweight fabric it doesn’t block light 100% for these type of applications you can use the Dimout series.

Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m2 . It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Because of its higher density it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout
Dimout fabrics are shiny fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can be used for example in front of windows.
Dimout drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

String curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal to be lit to create elegant and impressive effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout fabrics are shiny fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/m². They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colours. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can be used, for example, in front of windows. For situations requiring lengths greater than 330 cm, the curtain has a 30 cm piece of hook tape sewn in, allowing it to overlap another curtain, ensuring there are no gaps in between. The hook and loop tape can also be used to wrap the curtain around the upright to hide it. Compatible with Pipe and Drape systems.
Our Dimout fabrics are permanently flame retardant according to EN 13501-1. They are made of 100% PES FR (Flame Retardant Polyester) and can be washed without altering their flame retardant properties. Use a delicate washing cycle at 30 °C max and a mild, phosphate-free detergent. Iron max 110 °C and take care when ironing with steam.
