As a result of pure innovations, our Pipes & Drapes system is much easier to move around than any other system on the market. It is also very decorative. Revolutionary 4-way connection system
If you have used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know the flaws: for example, the telescoping drape support coming loose, uneven hanging drapes or awkward assembly.
The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these occurrences a thing of the past. This system ensures solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes further. Another advantage is that the four openings of the connectors have a universal size of 16 mm. This leaves room for mounting a camera, a speaker or a lamp. By using an adapter, it is also possible to connect the 4-way connector seamlessly to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Additional advantages
You will discover additional advantages when using Wentex Pipes & Drapes. Our reinforced aluminium telescoping uprights can be set up to 6 meters high without the need for ladders and their locking heads ensure an easy and sturdy connection. Additionally, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to withstand extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can hold a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The velcro system ensures that the drapes hang evenly and straight.

We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for the Pipe and Drape systems. Each fabric type has its own specifications and applications which are explained in the overview below.

Medium Gloss Satin
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Due to its lightness it is easy to handle and more cost efficient. The drapes have a somewhat shiny appearance. Medium Gloss Satin drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Due to the lightweight fabric it doesn’t block light 100% for this type of applications you can use the Dimout series.

Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m2 . It has a matt finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Due to its higher density it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout
Dimout fabrics are shiny fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colours. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can for example be used in front of windows.
Dimout drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

String Curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal to be lit to create elegant and striking effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

The Wentex P&D Curtain - Molton CS is the standard for stage decoration and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. The Molton CS is made of a relatively thick fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². It has a matte appearance and high light absorption. For example, light is blocked much better than with the Medium Gloss Satin version. For situations that require lengths greater than 330 cm, the curtain is equipped with a 30 cm sewn hook tape piece that allows it to overlap another curtain, ensuring there are no gaps in between. The Velcro tape can also be used to wrap the curtain around the upright to conceal it. Compatible with Pipe and Drape systems.
Molton CS curtains are washable and flame retardant according to DIM 4102-B1 (IFR) as they are made of 100% PES FR.
