If you have used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know its flaws: for example, the telescopic drape support coming loose, unevenly hanging curtains, or clumsy assembly. The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these occurrences a thing of the past. This system guarantees solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes one step further. Another advantage is that the four connector openings have a universal size of 16 mm. This leaves room for mounting a camera, speaker, or lamp. By using an adapter, it is also possible to seamlessly connect the 4-way connector to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Our telescopic uprights made of reinforced aluminium can be set up to 6 metres without needing a ladder and their locking heads guarantee an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to bear extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can bear a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 metres in length. The Velcro system ensures that the drapes hang evenly and straight.

Medium Gloss Satin
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Because of its light weight it is easy to handle and more cost effective. The drapes have a somewhat shiny look. Medium Gloss Satin drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Due to the light fabric it does not block 100% light for these type of applications you can use the Dimout series.
Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m2. It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most light. Because of its higher density it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.
Dimout
Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideally suited for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colours. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can be used in front of windows for example.
Dimout drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
String curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal to be lit to create elegant and striking effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
The Wentex P&D curtain - Molton CS is the standard for stage decoration and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. The Molton CS is made of relatively thick fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². It has a matte appearance and high light absorption. For example, light is blocked much better than with the Medium Gloss Satin version. For situations that require lengths greater than 330 cm, the curtain has a 30 cm piece of sewn hook tape allowing it to overlap with another curtain, ensuring there are no gaps in between. The Velcro tape can also be used to wrap the curtain around the upright to conceal it.
Molton CS curtains are washable and flame retardant according to EN 13501-1 as they are made of 100% PES FR.
