If you have used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know its flaws: for example, the telescoping drape support coming loose, uneven hanging curtains, or clumsy assembly.
The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these events a thing of the past. This system ensures solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes further. Another advantage is that the four openings of the connectors have a universal size of 16 mm. This allows for mounting a camera, a speaker, or a lamp. By using an adapter, it is also possible to seamlessly connect the 4-way connector to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Our reinforced aluminum telescoping uprights can be set up to 6 meters without the need for ladders, and their locking heads ensure an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to withstand extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can withstand a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The Velcro system ensures that the drapes hang evenly and straight.
We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for Pipe and Drape systems. Each fabric type has its own specifications and applications which are explained in the overview below.
Medium Gloss Satin.
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m². Thanks to its lightness it is easy to handle and more affordable. The drapes have a somewhat shiny appearance. Medium Gloss Satin drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Due to the lightweight fabric, it does not block 100% of the light; for this type of application, the Dimout series can be used.
Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m². It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Due to its higher density, it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.
Dimout
Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/m². They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout drapes are specially designed to block light and can be used, for example, in front of windows.
Dimout drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
String Curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have high transparency and are ideal for illumination to create elegant and striking effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
This unpleated P&D curtain, colored, is made of Molton, which is the standard for stage decoration. It has a weight of 300 g/m² and a matte finish. Thanks to the higher density, it blocks light well. Compatible with Pipe and Drape systems.
Molton curtains are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1. Please note that the P&D Molton 300 g/m² Curtain is not washable. If it is washed, it will no longer be flame retardant unless re-treated.
