If you have used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know the flaws: for instance, the telescopic drape support detaching, irregularly hanging curtains or clumsy assembly. The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these incidents a thing of the past. This system guarantees solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes the extra mile. Another advantage is that the four connector openings have a universal size of 16 mm. This leaves room for mounting a camera, loudspeaker or lamp. Using an adapter, it is also possible to seamlessly connect the 4-way connector to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Our reinforced aluminium telescopic uprights can be set up to 6 meters without needing ladders and their locking heads ensure an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to endure extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can handle a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The velcro system ensures that the curtains hang evenly and straight.
We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for Pipe and Drape systems. Each type of fabric has its own specifications and applications which are explained in the overview below.
Medium Gloss Satin
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Because it is lightweight it is easy to handle and more cost effective. The drapes have a somewhat shiny appearance. Medium Gloss Satin drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Because of the lightweight fabric it doesn’t block 100% light for this type of applications you can use the Dimout series.
Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m2 . It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Because of its higher density it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.
Dimout
Dimout fabrics are shiny fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideally suited for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout drapes are especially designed to block light and can be used for instance in front of windows.
Dimout drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
String Curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal to light to create stylish and impressive effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.
The Wentex String Curtain is a 100% polyester curtain. It can easily be mounted with the 25 mm soft hook-and-loop quick fastener strap. Due to the hook-and-loop it is also compatible with the Wentex Pipe & Drape systems. They are available in 3, 4, 5 or 6 m length and 3 colours, white, grey and black. The width is standard 3m. The String curtain can be cut to your preferred length using a household scissor without unravelling the strings.
Our String Curtains are permanently flame-retardant according to DIN4102. They are made of 100% PES FR (Flame Retardant Polyester) and can be washed without altering their flame-retardant properties. Use a gentle wash cycle at maximum 30 °C and a mild, phosphate-free detergent. Iron maximum at 110 °C and be careful when ironing with steam.
