Revolutionary 4-Way Connection System
If you've used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know the flaws: for example, the telescopic drape support coming loose, unevenly hanging curtains or clumsy assembly.
The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these incidents a thing of the past. This system guarantees solid connections of uprights and drape supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes always goes one step further. Another advantage is that all four connector openings have a universal size of 16 mm. This allows space for mounting a camera, a speaker or a lamp. By using an adapter, it is also possible to connect the 4-way connector seamlessly to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Further advantages

Our reinforced aluminum telescopic uprights can be mounted up to 6 metres high without the need for ladders, and their locking heads ensure an easy and robust connection. Furthermore, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to withstand extra weight.
The reinforced drape supports can handle 25 kg of weight and can be adjusted up to 3 metres in length. The Velcro system ensures that the curtains hang evenly and straight.

We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for the Pipe and Drape systems. Each fabric type has its own specifications and applications which are explained in the overview below.

Medium Gloss Satin
Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Because of its light weight it is easy to handle and more cost efficient. The drapes have a somewhat shiny look. Medium Gloss Satin drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Due to the lightweight fabric it does not block light for 100% for this type of applications you can use the Dimout series.

Molton CS
Molton CS is the standard for stage dressing and is made of the same fabric as backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m2. It has a matte finish and therefore absorbs most light. Due to its higher density it also blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.
Molton CS drapes are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR).
They are made of 100% PES FR.

Dimout
Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colours. Dimout drapes are especially designed to block light and can be used for example in front of windows.
Dimout drapes can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

String Curtain
String curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal to be lit to create elegant and striking effects. String curtains are washable and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR.

The Wentex telescopic upright is part of the Showtec Pipe and Drape system. This 2-way system is a continuously adjustable upright for hanging curtains with a height of 120 cm up to 180 cm. It is therefore widely applicable.
