It allows music to be distributed simply via DLNA, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth (bidirectional) or Chromecast. This way you can easily access your music library, whether it is stored on a computer, NAS or smartphone. In addition, device control and playback are facilitated by the WiiM Home App. The application also allows you to access your favorite streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and Qobuz. As for amplification, the highly efficient Class D (TPA3255) output stage is capable of delivering a generous power of 2x100W into 4Ω or 2x60W into 8Ω. To allow you to listen to your music remotely, the WiiM amplifier integrates a streamer. Connection can be via WiFi or RJ45 Ethernet. DLNA, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Chromecast transmission protocols are supported. This allows easy access to all music stored on the network, whether on a computer, NAS or smartphone. This connectivity also allows you to use your favorite music streaming applications such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Napster. You can also listen to web radios such as iHeartRadio and TuneIn. Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity is also available. Bidirectional, it allows you to stream music from a smartphone, for example, but also to pair the WiiM amplifier with Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The Class D (TPA3255) amplification stage of the WiiM amplifier can develop a power of 2x100W into 4Ω or 2x60W into 8Ω, capable of excellently driving most bookshelf speakers and even less demanding floorstanding speakers. Through the App it is possible to adapt the amplifier's sound to your liking, thanks to numerous predefined equalization profiles and a 10-band parametric equalizer adjustable by the user. The WiiM amplifier can be used as a standalone unit or in combination with other units in a multi-room system. This way you can distribute music throughout the house from a centralized control point, using the WiiM Home App. The playback source and volume can be managed the same way for all devices or independently for each. It is also possible to connect other devices of other brands in multi-room mode, as long as they are compatible with LinkPlay or AVS Multiroom and AirPlay 2. The WiiM Home App, very intuitive and well made, allows you to remotely control the WiiM amplifier and all music playback. It is also the access point to compatible streaming services. The amplifier can also be used completely independently, thanks to the supplied remote control. Finally, WiiM Amp is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri voice assistants; WiiM Amp can be voice-controlled when connected to one of these systems or by using the integrated microphone in its remote control.
