4" Studio Monitor
The YAMAHA MSP3 is a 4" studio monitor that faithfully reproduces high-quality reference audio, normally provided by the MSP series. It is the ideal choice not only for small private studio setups or post-production, but also as a monitor for electronic musical instruments or surround playback.
Although the built-in amplifier can generate 20 watts of power, the YAMAHA MSP3 weighs only 4.4 kg, making it extremely easy to transport.
In addition to an XLR connector for direct connection to a +4 dB mixer output or other professional equipment, the YAMAHA MSP3 provides an audio jack and RCA connectors for connecting electronic musical instruments or home audio equipment. It also features sound control that allows for optimization of the monitoring environment, effectively compensating for anomalies caused by speaker placement or room resonance. The YAMAHA MSP3's magnetic shielding prevents interference with your TV or computer, making it the ideal choice for post-production studios.
The bottom panel of the YAMAHA MSP3 has threaded holes that can be used to connect an optional bracket for ceiling or wall mounting. Another mounting option is the BMS-10A microphone stand adapter, which allows the YAMAHA MSP3 to be conveniently mounted on a standard microphone stand.
