The ZOOM H8 is an 8-channel recorder with a USB interface, 12 simultaneous recording tracks, interchangeable capsules, and an App-based touchscreen interface. The H8 is designed to meet all your audio recording needs.
The ZOOM H8's full-color touchscreen adapts to the needs of any project with three App-based interface options. All at the touch of a finger.
The PODCAST app simplifies podcast production. With dedicated Sound Pads, just use the touchscreen to trigger sound effects, backing tracks, and more.
The MUSIC app puts all the necessary controls for recording at your fingertips: audio levels, faders, metering, mix, overdub, EQ, and compression.
The FIELD app is ideal for location sound, sound design, conferences, and more. It provides immediate access to large meters for each track, ensuring that your recordings are never clipped.
The ZOOM H8 comes with the Zoom XYH-6 microphone. This capsule provides two high-quality matched unidirectional microphones to capture the signal directly in front of the recorder. With the Zoom microphone capsule system, you can easily swap capsules to ensure you always use the right microphone for the right job.
The ZOOM H8 offers 4 XLR inputs with dedicated pad switches and gain control. 2 additional XLR/TRS combo jacks with Hi-Z switches allow you to acquire line-level signals, microphones, or record electric guitars and basses directly.
You can also monitor tracks using the integrated 1/8" headphone output and connect directly to your camera using the dedicated stereo line out.
