The ZOOM R24 is a multitrack digital recorder with 24 playback tracks and 8 simultaneous recording tracks on an SD Card in 16/24-bit/44.1/48kHz PCM/WAV format.
The ZOOM R24 features 8 XLR/Jack Mic/Line inputs, a Hi-Z input for guitar/bass, Phantom Power on 6 MIC inputs, and USB 2.0 client/host ports for computer connection, a DSP with 150 effects (390 patches) including guitar and bass amplifier models, and a built-in tuner.
The ZOOM R24 also functions as an 8-in/2-out audio interface, a control surface (Mackie Control) for popular recording/sequencing applications (Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer, etc.), a sampler, and a drum machine to play drum loops directly from the 24 drum pads (8 pads per 3 banks) or from the integrated sequencer.
