The HELVIA GNS-550XGN loudspeaker is designed for gardens, terraces, outdoor restaurants, parks, and, in general, all outdoor or indoor locations where the base of the loudspeaker can be buried. The 60W RMS coaxial speakers with a 5.25” woofer and a 0.75” titanium tweeter ensure good frequency response and excellent sensitivity. The downward-facing transducer arrangement and the cone structure of the reflective surface beneath the woofer allow for 360° horizontal and 40° vertical coverage; this means that with 2 or 4 loudspeakers, a medium-sized garden or terrace can be covered. Of course, everything depends on the desired music level (background or medium/high volume). The polypropylene structure of the GNS-550XGN is designed for long-lasting durability in conditions of constant exposure to all weather conditions. The UV treatment, in particular, prevents rapid deterioration of the plastic properties when exposed to the sun. The IP56 protection rating, considering the protected position of the loudspeaker in the upper part of the cabinet and facing downwards, prevents direct exposure to water and mud and significantly extends its lifespan. Next to the woofer, also in a protected position, there is a 7-position power selector that allows the loudspeaker to be adapted to different types of lines (70V, 100V, 8Ω) and power.
