CONSTANT VOLTAGE AMPLIFIER / 4-16 OHM
The ZEUS CA series by Helvia is designed for small and medium-sized audio installations on both constant voltage lines at 70V or 100V, and low impedance lines from 4 to 16 ohm. It offers Class-D amplifiers with 1, 2, and 4 channels with RMS power outputs of 120W, 240W, and 350W. Each channel is independent and has its own line transformer, therefore it is possible to choose between operation at 70/100V or at low impedance between 4-16 ohm for each of them, offering maximum versatility depending on the needs of each zone. Each channel is equipped, in addition to volume, with LED VU-meter and clip indicator, as well as gain control via trimmer on the rear panel. There is also a High-Pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 400Hz. All input and output connections are balanced with XLR connectors; power outputs are on Phoenix (Europlug) connection. The 1 and 2 channel versions also have auxiliary 24V DC power supply for possible emergency auxiliary lines. Helvia has devoted considerable attention to the safety, reliability, and durability over time of these amplifiers. Each channel is equipped with a mute system on power-up, signal limiter, thermal protection, and current limitation. The cooling system with fan speed controlled in relation to internal temperature is also enhanced thanks to the standard 19" 2U rack format that promotes heat dissipation. Quality is based not only on the selection of active and passive components, but also on the quality of the materials used in the line transformers and the use of digital processing to provide stability, reliability, and high-level audio performance.
