The MOOG DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) is an analog semi-modular drum machine synthesizer for drum sounds with 100% analog circuitry featuring two oscillators, a selectable Low/High Pass Moog Ladder analog filter and three envelope generators. The MOOG DFAM has two on-board oscillators capable of providing independently selectable square and triangle waveforms, and also includes a noise generator. Like the Mother-32 analog synthesizer, the DFAM also features an on-board 8x2 step-sequencer, ideal for using the analog drum machine. With DFAM, you can create drum and percussion patterns in just a few steps, making the creative process even simpler and more intuitive. The MOOG DFAM offers the ability to modify every parameter during performance. The DFAM's analog synthesis is managed by 2 Oscillators, 1 white noise generator, a VCO with voltage-controlled Decay and bipolar amount control, VCF with voltage-controlled decay and bipolar amount control, VCA with voltage-controlled Decay and selectable Fast/Slow attack time. This analog drum machine expands the creative range of all producers and electronic music enthusiasts, whether paired with the Mother 32 synthesizer or any other existing setup in your studio, offering the historical sound of legendary MOOG equipment that still perfectly integrates with even the most modern sound.
