TUBECORE 500 is a 500 series compressor with a symmetrically transformer-balanced circuit. The compressor's design is based on the classic vari-mu solution. TUBECORE 500 is a true mono tube compressor where compression occurs by exploiting the remote cut-off of the tube's biasing. Perfect for use as a mono tracking compressor or (in a matched pair version) as an advanced mastering tool.
